Tea Holds Annual Dock Party

On July 18, (TEA) The Esplanade Association held its Annual Dock Party on the Community Boating docks.

As in years past, the event was a great success.  Everyone had an amazing time, and the party helped to raise almost $10,000 for the organization.

This year, 250 attendees gathered for a night of dinner, drinks and dancing on the docks.  Due to a high demand, tickets sold out a week in advance, and despite the heat, the party was packed and lively.

DJ Matt McCord volunteered his services and provided a great soundtrack for the evening. Guests enjoyed a buffet style dinner catered by the Esplanade Café, along with beer donated by Sam Adams, seltzer water donated by Polar Beverages and a selection of summer wines. For dessert, ING Financial sponsored a delicious variety of mini-cupcakes from Curly Cakes bakery.

In addition to proceeds from tickets, more than $1,000 was raised through a live raffle that gave attendees the opportunity to enter to win three separate prize-packages.  Prizes included four Red Sox tickets; a gift card to Tresca, coupled with a one-night stay at the Seaport Hotel; and a “girls night out” at Cerulian Blue. Neuro Beverages helped to enhance raffle sales by creating a sleek lounge area that was open to all guests who purchased tickets for the raffle.
