INCIDENTS
Robbery – Unarmed – Street
06/02/12 – At about 12:52 a.m., police responded to Gloucester and Beacon streets for a robbery in progress.
On arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who stated she was assaulted and robbed in the vicinity of Beacon and Herefords streets about 15 minutes earlier. The victim stated a male suspect pushed her to the ground and grabbed her by the neck before grabbing the iPhone out of her hand and rummaging through her purse. The suspect stole around $200 in U.S. currency and fled towards Massachusetts Avenue and Beacon Street.
Police canvassed the area for the suspect to no avail and transported the victim to a friend’s house in South Boston.
Vandalism
06/03/12 – At about 11:07 a.m., an Area D-4 officer responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering of a vehicle at Clarendon Street and Commonwealth Avenue.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim who said at between 10 and 10:50 p.m. on that date, unknown person(s) broke and smashed the rear driver’s side window. Officers observed damage to the motor vehicle, as well as a small brick in the backseat. At that time, the victim didn’t think anything was stolen from the vehicle.
Officers advised the victim to file a claim with her insurance company.
