On May 3 and 4, Beacon Hill Nursery School (BHNS) welcomed more than 150 grandparents and special friends, including six legacy families, at the school for its annual “Grandparents and Special Friends Day.”

Led by the BHNS Development team, Micki Rowaan and Ali Munroe, grandparents were treated to refreshments in the lunchroom, classroom activities with their grandchildren and a nature activity in the back playscape.

In its fourth year, Grandparents and Special Friends Day is a community building event, bringing together the families through the ages at BHNS. The children take great pride in sharing their school, friends, projects and their teachers with loved ones.
