Verbal Dispute

11/09/11 – At about 8:05 p.m., officers responded to a radio call for a fight at 144 Marlborough St.

Upon arrival, police met with the victim, who stated an unknown female confronted her as she exited the CVS Pharmacy at 587 Boylston St. and called her a racist. The victim said she tried to ignore the suspect and walk home, but the suspect began following the victim and demanding an apology from her. Feeling threatened, the victim called 911.

The suspect told police the victim was rolling her eyes at her from inside the store. She sad she confronted the victim outside because she felt she deserved an apology from the woman, who she said acted dismissive and haughty towards her.

The victim said she never said anything to the suspect and asked police to document the incident, since it ended up in front of the victim’s Marlborough Street residence. The victim also stated that she feels uncomfortable now that the suspect now knows where she lives.

Both the victim and the suspect stated that the incident was only verbal in nature and never led to any physical altercation.

Robbery – Unarmed – Street

11/12/11 – At about 2:31 a.m., an Area D-4 officer responded to a radio call for a robbery report at 116 Beacon St.

Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim, who stated he was robbed of his wallet approximately 45 minutes earlier in the rear of 1 Arlington St. The victim said the male suspect jumped out of a white motor vehicle, pushed him to the ground and kneed him in the back before demanding his wallet.  The victim handed over his brown leather wallet, containing a Connecticut driver’s license, a Bank of America credit card and various personal papers. The suspect fled outbound in the alley between Beacon and Marlborough streets in his motor vehicle.

The victim sustained scrapes to his right hand and knee, but declined medical attention.

The officer broadcast a description of the suspect and his vehicle over Channel 5 and canvassed the area to no avail.
