09/07/11 – At about 5:53 p.m., officers responded to a radio call to investigate strange letters sent to the French Cultural Center at 53 Marlborough St.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the victims, who stated that a male suspect has been dropping off typed letters at the center’s mailbox. The victims added that the suspect might have dropped off a packet containing more than 100 pages of typed letters, targeting people of different races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, etc.

The victims said the same suspect was seen dropping off single-paged typed letters on Sept. 6 at around 5:30 p.m., and again on Sept. 6 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Both letters targeted people of different sexual orientations and ethnicities.

Officers seized the documents as evidence and contacted the Community Disorders Unit to investigate further.
