Robbery – Other Weapon – Business

05/16/11 – At about 7:29 p.m., officers received a radio call for a panic alarm at Sugar Heaven, located at 669 Boylston St.

On arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who stated that an unknown male had just threatened her with a syringe. The victim said she was working the cash register when the suspect approached her and pulled out the object.

“Open the drawer, or I’ll stab you,” the suspect said.

The victim was unable to open the cash drawer without a key and observed the suspect flee inbound on Boylston Street.

Officers viewed the incident via surveillance footage, and the victim provided them with the store manager’s contact information.

Officers broadcast a description of the suspect via Channel Five and searched the area for the suspect to no avail.

Investigate Person

05/17/11 – A victim called to report that while she was driving in the vicinity of Massachusetts Avenue and Newbury Street, the driver of another vehicle threw a nickel in her face.

The victim said the other driver cut her off, and she blew her horn at him. When the victim caught up with the other driver at a red light, he rolled down his window and cursed at her before throwing a coin at her and driving away. The victim stated that she wrote down the license plate and called 911.

The victim was referred to Area D-4 detectives for further assistance.

Open and Gross Lewdness

05/18/11 – At about 2:25 a.m., officers responded to a radio call for a sex offense at 270 Clarendon St.

Upon arrival, the victim said she was walking up to her apartment at the rear of the above location when she saw an unknown male suspect with his genitals exposed in the alley. The victim reported that she yelled at the suspect to get away. The suspect walked away, fleeing on Clarendon Street towards Beacon Street. The victim said the suspect didn’t touch her or attempt to touch her.

Officers canvassed the area for the suspect to no avail.
